Крис Кислинг, известный под псевдонимом Misanthropic-Art, — художник-иллюстратор, оформляющий метал-релизы с 2003 года. За это время он реализовал более 700 проектов, включая арты для обложек альбомов и мерча, дизайн афиш и логотипов. Его клиентами были: Katatonia, Behemoth, Sargeist, Agalloch, Uada, Ungfell, Wolves In The Throne Room, Gaerea и многие другие. Своими вдохновителям Крис называет Альбрехта Дюрера, Гюстава Доре, Каспара Давида Фридриха, художников ар-нуво.
